· Visa-free entry: many countries allow short-term entry to China without a visa under certain conditions.
· Tourist visa (L): This category is available to applicants from all countries.
· Non-commercial visa (F): This category is available to applicants from all countries.
Due to current Chinese regulations, the BIOMAG 2026 is not recognized as a Chinese entity. As a result, invitation letters issued by BIOMAG 2026 organizing committee cannot be guaranteed for use in F-category (Exchange, visits, study tours, or other relevant activities) visa applications. We therefore strongly recommend that you first explore visa-free entry, transit visas, or a tourist visa before considering an F visa.
To see which visa category you qualify for, along with the required application documents, please check the official website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center: https://www.visaforchina.cn . If you have further questions about your visa options, please consult your nearest Chinese embassy or consulate for the most up-to-date guidance.
Visa requirements depend on your nationality and the purpose of your visit. Here are the details about the visa options.
